I have grown up in a family involved with horses and have always loved them, I started riding ponies before I could walk and began showing at the age of 6. I have been very lucky to own and ride some of the best horses in the country since then. My first pony was Langtree Overture where at my first major show we won champion first ridden pony of the year. I then went onto Springwood Moonstruck where I won EFA Rider of the year 2002, runner up small pony Perth Royal Show, 1st turnout 2002 & 2003 and high point pony of the year 2002 & 2003.

In 2004 my Mum and Grandfather surprised me with the most special pony Silkwood Angel wings, I went down to the stables to find a little pony in purple rugs with a big card tired around her neck with a massive bow. I started having lesson with Jan Godwin and have ever since. Angel and I grew an amazing partnership making all my showing dreams come true at such a young age.

At the end of 2005 Silkwood Heaven Can Wait ( Sarah ) was purchased, Sarah was also very successful getting champion and runner up large pony and EFA Nationals, 3X Champion Large pony Perth Royal show, 6X Large pony OTY Championships as well as carrying myself to many rider wins. Sarah is still a special part of my show team, breeding some beautiful riding ponies including Emyella Touch of Heaven, Emyella Pure Heaven and Silkwood Heavens Chalice (Candy). I campaigned candy for Silkwood stud in 2007 where in her first season of showing she won champion newcomer small pony, champion small pony Perth royal show, runner up small pony OTY, Champions of champions small pony and champion small pony at Sydney Royal Show. While showing Sarah and Candy I also had KB Dances (Trent ) who we bought as a 2 year old. Trent went on to win champion newcomer large pony, champion novice, led and ridden riding pony at Perth royal show as well as runner up open large pony.

While over riding for Silkwood stud at Barastoc in 2008 I feel in love with SLM Flirting and was lucky enough to purchase him. I am still showing Max and he has been the most amazing horse I could have ever dreamt of owning and has taught me so much. He has carried me to many rider and open hack wins in our 6 years of showing together including.
